Hollow shaft

Spiral bevel gearboxes with hollow shafts are ideal for direct connection of drive shafts and for the insertion of special connecting shafts.

Specifications

By eliminating couplings, they provide a compact solution to torque transmission in small spaces.
Different versions with keyway, straight sided splines, involute splines and shrink disc are available.

Reinforced shaft d2

WV series

A bevel gearbox with reinforced shaft is commonly used in line-shaft drive applications where only a proportion of the full torque is taken off the main drive shaft at various intervals. Because the full torque is not transmitted through the gears, smaller more cost effective gearboxes can be utilised.
